Palav Story

Join us in our mission to save one million newborns with weak lungs and give each of them a strong start to life.

Pioneer Medical Research Foundation’s Project Palav implements a simple and low-cost breathing support system and approach to help save newborns who have trouble breathing.

 

Palav’s Mission is to: 

  1. Provide Breathing Support Equipment for newborns with breathing difficulty.

  2. Provide Training to Healthcare Providers

  3. Provide Upgraded Rural and Tribal Health Care Centers

  4. Provide Palav Pouch and transport Incubators for safe transport of babies to Level II hospitals

 

Pioneer Medical Research Foundation is a Michigan, USA-based 501c3 nonprofit and an India-based non-profit under Section 25 of the Companies Act in India.

    This walk marks 15 years of sustained impact and 10 years of community engagement. We have saved more than 100,000 lives through over 85 projects in eight different countries. Our goal is to save a million lives! Come join the 10th Annual Palav Walk and us achieve that goal.
